Lake Oswego Remodel

Shortly after our return from Sun Valley for the Limestrong workshop, we were asked to come in to look over a job in Lake Oswego. The owners had bought a spec house in the area and decided to make some major changes to it. Their designers, Brandt and Chelsea Kaemingk of Kaemingk Design wanted lime plaster to be incorporated into some of the main areas of the house and decided to reach out to us to see about getting it done! We had gotten back home a few days before Halloween and were notified that the owners were planning on moving back in less than two weeks.

No problem.

With trowels in hand and buckets of plaster ready to go, we got to work installing tadelakt in the master shower as well as lime to the half wall in the master bathroom, the kitchen walls, the grand room, the powder room, and the entire basement from ceiling to baseboard. Some photos can be found below. The transformation was incredible to watch as we worked alongside numerous contractors installing everything from custom countertops to furniture to doorknobs. It felt as if we were all putting the place together as new installations were happening throughout the day.

As we worked, the owners would stop by to check on things with huge smiles on their faces. We love that. And we love working with all sorts of designers!

Brandt and Chelsea, thank you for the opportunity to help on this project. We can’t wait to work with you again in the future!
