Kitchen + Dining Room Remodel - Renderings

Designers - Alice Hellyar + Charles Sholten The client’s vision was to maintain their phenomenal view of the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood. They also wanted a functional space that would serve their needs well into their future. While working closely with the clients, the design and materials were selected to enhance their environment and personal art collection. These rendered images were created to give the clients an overall representation of their new kitchen and dining room.

New Workshop + Art Studio - Rendering/Elevations/Working Drawings

Designers - Alice Hellyar + Charles Sholten An old barn structure adjacent to the client’s bluff-side residence was taken down and salvaged to make room for their new workshop and art studio. This new two-story structure was designed to resemble the previous barn and give the clients more space for their projects. Out-Swinging French Casement windows below the dormer connect the 2nd floor interior with the outdoors. The workshop is designed with 10 foot ceilings, salvaged windows and doors, and ample space for a productive workshop.

New Master Bathroom - Plan/Working Drawings/Elevations

Designers - Alice Hellyar + Charles Sholten The main feature of this master bathroom remodel is the new walk-in shower. Throughout the design process we worked closely with the clients to develop a working floor plan and guided them in choosing the right finish materials via 3D computer images. Here are a few comments from our client: "We appreciate that one of your roles is to provide us with alternatives, give us options that we haven’t thought about, and provide a designer’s way of looking at things. You are doing that and we appreciate your approach. It has been very helpful and we are pleased with our progress."
